Inspired by the first day of October,
the hint of crispness in the air
and the freshly arranged
fall decor in our home,
I decided to whip up
a fall favorite this Friday night...

Baked Apples.

I do not have a recipe for such, and I'm

sure there are plenty of good ones out there,
but I just threw together some goodies that I
thought would be good in our cored apples
(careful ...don't core them
all the way through
or your goodies will cook right out!)

Light brown sugar, golden raisins, a tad of good vanilla

I mixed that together and stuffed it into my buttered apples
Then on top I sprinkled some chopped pecans...
as many as you like! {Can you have too many???}
and slid them into the 400 degree oven for 30 ish minutes...
A yummy treat.
Happy Fall, Ya'll!
