For the last few weeks, Aynsley has been going to after school art class at a local church. Once a week in the afternoon, they create, learn, and find out how fun art is ! In the course of the "semester", they will paint, sculpt, draw, finger paint- you name it. She absolutely loves it! She asks me nearly every day - "Mom, is today art day yet?"

The first week they started painting a birdhouse and in week two, they embellished it. I included a pic below --hers is the one with all the glitter and jewels, of course.

While waiting for birdhouses to dry, they learned how to draw a peacock....

Week 3: I think it was watercolor painting but whatever it was, they didn't bring it home (it had to dry) so next week I'll post the finished product.
