We had a quiet Saturday today, playing at Nannie & Poppie's.
Good times full of play and visiting.
It's simple days like today when I note to myself:
these are the things I don't ever want to forget....
Plucking our snacks out of Poppie's garden:
"Riding" the fence:
That beautiful fern growing on stately oaks:
The look of glee on my children's faces
as they run hay bales...
And those boots:
those boots have run many a mile,
squished through many a pile of mud and sand,
collected much hay after a good bale run,
and waited patiently at the foot of their little boy's bed as he rested.
I think I shall bronze them. ☺
