Check out our very first strawberry. We had one ready a few weeks back but the bird beat us to it. This day, however, we delighted in the harvest....

The other big news (and I do mean big) coming from our garden are the sunflowers opening...
And I'm hoping the single green bell pepper that I've been watching closely will be ready any day.....it would be tasty along side the greens we're planning to pick this week.
Technically this is not from our garden per say but it's just so stinkin' gorgeous that I threw it in just to show it off. It's an orchid cactus bloom...
