The Final Getaway

At least for now.

Rod's annual FCA conference was this past weekend at Gaylord - so while Daddy soaked up more learnin', all three of us kids soaked up lots of sun and plenty of water. What an awesome octopus slide! Squeals of delight were heard from afar. Aynsley and Tristan loved it too. :-)

All that swimmin' made for one tired boy. From this....

...to this...

While enjoying his fine dinner of champions - pizza and Gatorade - Tristan simply passed out into a deep sleep. He went as far as he could. Night Night T-Man.

But by the morning light, he was energized to do it all over again:

Later, while the girls got ready, the boys entertained themselves with the Batman "computer" - thanks Gran and Pop!

On the way to dinner:

Isn't this the coolest centerpiece?

Entertainment following dinner -->face (and arm) painting:

Day #3 - Kiddos headed off for an adventure to Sea World with Gran, Caity, and Sarah....

She definitely gets this from her father!

{Thank you, Sarah, for taking pictures so I could see all the fun you guys had!}

Meanwhile....

We had a fun day of our own, though it didn't involve roller coasters or sting rays. More like poolside relaxing, lounging and napping, and date night at one of our favorite places, The Old Hickory Steakhouse.

Divine I say.

The dishes were just fab- a feast to the eyes and the stomach - and because I am a foodie, I felt the need to photograph them...

Oysters Rockefeller

And get a load of this...Can you say doggie bag?

Chocolate Souffle to die for...

A great weekend. Fun family times. And mind-nourishment for Doc.

Now back to real life. And the gym....did you see that steak?

It definitely shows that you had a great time. All the pictures were great...especially those ones of dinner! Is it time for lunch?
