On our afternoon walk-a-bout today, we came upon an interesting find. This spider had made quite the web in our yard and we spent some time examining him and his dinner - what I'm sure was a tasty dragonfly was wrapped in his cocoon. Of course Rod did not miss the opportunity to educate and demonstrate and the kids were mesmerized.
Along the way, Daddy and Aynsley gathered flora and fauna and by the end of the afternoon, they had collected quite a beautiful bunch of flowers that made for a nice centerpiece for our dinner table tonight.
