Fruits of Our Labor

Well....some of the fruits.

This is after I "re-did" the bed. { for the record, simply typing "re-did" does not do justice to the back-breaking labor necessary to clean out the old and replant the new. ☺}

After one coat of poly:

I still have to apply a third (and maybe more) coat and then maybe it'll get a final photo op.

And this is just for fun because it caught my eye -

Rod cleaned our brushes and laid them out to dry:

Tristan helped us for a little while but got severely distracted by the lizards.

You know how the boy is when it comes to lizards.

I'm amazed we have any left at all.

And Aynsley?

She got herself dressed {skipped the hair brush} and set out to paint a masterpiece.

It was a good weekend.
