Aynsley ran in tonight from outside to ask me a question....it was:
"Mom, could you supervise me? "
Through my laughter, I asked her what she intended to do that needed supervising.
Then I asked her what supervise meant. I don't think she expected me to ask such things because she seemed annoyed as she exited the room totally offended that I questioned her knowledge and usage of the word. Thoughts: I am indeed impressed that my 4 year old's vocabulary includes "supervise" and how did she learn this word? I'm still laughing.
