A few highlights of the day....

A good day. Tristan and Momma had some quality time this morning while Aynsley was at school. He and I went shopping for some spiffy big boy pants. He picked them out. Diego won out...even over "Spidy-Man". He proudly toted them to the Sears counter and told the man "No More Dipies". We'll see. Today he did pretty good. Didn't know we were jumping into potty training this week...unsure how it came to be....but here we go...

For my birthday, my friend Robyn contributed to my apron fetish and surprised me with a set of matching aprons for Aynsley and me. We sported them tonight while making dinner. She was tickled pink. We love them, Robyn. Thank you!
Tomorrow, we're going to try a new recipe...something sweet...

We had fresh corn on the cob at dinner tonight and while eating it, Aynsley says..

"Daddy..where does the corn go after you eat it?"..to which he replied "in your tummy."

Then she says...

"then does it go down to your toes?"

Wouldn't it be nice if this were true for chocolate cake? Hmm..plump toes...
